LCA ProfileLow Chill Australia Inc (LCA) is an association incorporated in NSW in 2002 to formally combine the activities of low chill stonefruit growers throughout northern NSW and south east QLD, and more recently WA. The functions of LCA are to facilitate the communication to the membership of the latest technical information and National and International developments impacting on all sectors of the Australian low chill stonefruit industry. LCA publishes the respected bimonthly newsletter - The Low chill Stonefruit Grower, and conducts regular field days, seminars and "Update" conferences every 2-3 years to keep members abreast of new developments. One of LCA’s critical functions is the management of strategic research projects, such as the low chill varietal breeding and micro-climate evaluation projects.
